**Introduction:**

Greg's mom warns him before he heads to a party:

"Ok, Greg, but don't go near that house, you know the one."

Greg brushes it off, dismissing the tales of the haunted house in the woods, haunted since 1956 after its owner died.

**The Journey:**

As Greg enters the woods, he sees numerous signs:

"Stay out," "Stay away, don't take the risk."

Ignoring them, Greg proceeds but starts to feel uneasy. Whispers grow louder:

"Get out, get out!"

He slips, tumbles down a cliff, hits his head on a rock, and blacks out.

**The Haunted House:**

Greg awakens to bright lights in a blurry house. He wipes his eyes and realizes he's in the haunted house his mom warned him about. A super-fast bluish-greenish light zooms past him. Hungry, he finds only wooden bull heads in the fridge. The walls are plastered with missing persons posters, one of which bears his own name: "Missing kid: Greg Caldwell."

Greg panics, tears down the poster, and finds more with his name. He tries to run up the spiral staircase, but it feels endless, like a carnival maze. After 10 minutes, he's still at the same spot. Desperate, he goes downstairs to use the phone, but all he hears is static and a voice:

"Get out of my house."

The voice grows louder, echoing:

"Get out, get out!"

**The Encounter:**

Greg sees a pale, 10-foot-tall, skeletal man who accuses him of defiling the house and chases him. The creature tackles Greg, revealing shark-like teeth, when suddenly an old man intervenes, urging Greg to run.

Greg hides behind a couch and watches the man kill the monster, which threatens,

"You will pay," with its dying breath.

The old man, covered in green slime, tells Greg,

"Get up, son, it's all over."

Confused, Greg asks who the man is and how he knows his name.

"I saw the posters," the man replies, leading Greg to a secret room filled with cameras and monitors.

**The Escape:**

The old man explains he's been studying the house for 70 years. Greg asks how to escape, and the man replies:

"Sure, but you have to pay."

Greg offers money, but the man wants his belt instead, saying it's necessary. They retrieve a key from the monster's stomach, covered in slime.

"All we need to do to get to the exit is walk down the stairs, open this door, and the exit is right ahead."

As they leave, the man sets a bomb in the house, using the belt to make it. The house explodes behind them, and the man tells Greg to look at a poster, now reading: "Greg Caldwell, hero destroying the crazy house."

Greg returns home to his mother’s embrace:

"Thank you, son, now no more missing kids."
