Bacterial cell is a simple Prokaryote that lacks a membrane bound nucleus and cell organelles, Only Ribosomes are present in the cell.Nucleoid contain DNA as genetic material and has cell wall composed of Peptidoglycan. Extra chromosomal DNA called plasmids are present in bacteria.

Specialized structures like flagella,gas vesicles, granules, pili Slime layer and Lipopolysaccharide above Peptidoglycan are present in some bacteria. Those Bacteria which contain a lipid layer above Peptidoglycan are present in Gram Negative Bacteria, Flagella and Cilia are mainly found in motile bacteria, Certain Bacteria produce toxins.Ribosome of 70S is present in all Bacteria.
