**Objective:** Explore career options using the O*Net Interest Profiler and analyze the results.

**Instructions:**

1. **Complete the O*Net Interest Profiler:**
- Answer 60 questions to determine your career interests.
- Focus on whether the work sounds interesting, without considering your current qualifications or potential salary.

2. **Analyze Your Results:**
- Your interests will be categorized into six groups: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional.
- Identify the two groups where you scored the highest.

3. **Explore Job Zones:**
- Determine how much preparation each career requires.
- Find a career that is a "great fit" (indicated by a white puzzle piece) and a "best fit" (indicated by a blue puzzle piece).
- If necessary, select two careers that seem most interesting.

4. **Research Careers:**
- Click on each selected career to access My Next Move for details on skills, education, and career outlook.
- Review the Job Outlook section for future career prospects.
- Check state and local salary information for each career.

5. **Create a Venn Diagram:**
- Use a Word document to create a Venn diagram comparing the two careers.
- Consider similarities and differences, interest focus, and Job Zones.
- Include availability and salary comparisons for your area.

6. **Write a Reflection:**
- Under your Venn diagram, write a short paragraph discussing:
- Whether you agree with the O*Net Interest Profiler’s results.
- Your interest in learning more about the careers.
- Attractions and concerns about each career.
- Local demand for the careers.
- Which career offers better salary prospects.

**Outcome:** By completing this activity, you will gain insights into careers that align with your interests and understand potential future paths and preparation required.
