( please show work )

Answer :

Lets say Brad has 'x' number of Chips
Brad = x
Kevin has 5 more chips than that of Brad. So
Kevin = x + 5
Rob has 3 times more chips than that of Brad. So
Rob = 3*x = 3x

Total chips present = 125.
So putting down the below equation
Bob + Kevin + Brad = 125
x + (x + 5) + 3x = 125
5x + 5 = 125
Subtracting by 5 on both sides of equation
5x + 5 - 5 = 125 - 5
5x = 120
Divide by 5 on both sides of equation
5x/5 = 120/5
x = 24

So total chips possessed by Brad = x = 24
total chips possessed by Kevin = (x + 5) = 24+5 = 29
total chips possessed by Rob = 3x = 3*24 = 72

Brad has 24 chips, Kevin has 29 chips and Rob has 72 chips
